Time CAN be on your side with Recovery!

In this day and age, our struggles seem to be more and more focused around TIME. It's costly. It's demanding. There's never enough of it. And it just, keeps, going.


What's worse when you did something as simple as clean the gutters the day before, and wake up with a sore shoulder, knowing you have to go to work that day and use it?


And so, you ignore it (It's fine, no biggie). You rationalize it (it was only one time and it was just gutters, not like I was that macho person in the weight room). And then you push through it because.... no time! Then a month later you overuse it again and... OOPSSSS, mistake. Now having to go to Dr. Appointments, PT sessions, Chiro, Massage, and everyone else multiple times a week for two months to get that fixed. UGH.


REWIND......


You clean the gutters. Arm is not limited in motion but is definitely sore the next day. You go to CrossFunction Sports Recovery.


In 30 min:

  1. 10 min cryotherapy appointment

  2. 12 min red light therapy

  3. 2 min VibePlate

  4. 5 min stretch session


Then in the next 1-2 days, again:

  1. 10 min Nice1 Ice compression w/tens unit

  2. 10 min heat/vibe compression

  3. 2 min VibePlate

  4. 5 min stretch session


ONE HOUR TOTAL. All better. Next week you're touting to your buddies...

Point to one of these and show our recovery specialist. They will hook you right up! Remember the CiLy MuCe Method? (read the mascot blog post if not; our mascot is awesome!)


The refresher one sentence summary is: in each recovery session, we treat the body in three ways, to illicit optimal recovery.

In 30 min:

  1. 10 min cryotherapy appointment

  2. 12 min red light therapy

  3. 2 min VibePlate

  4. 5 min stretch session


In 30 min:

  1. 10 min Nice1 Ice compression w/tens unit

  2. 10 min heat/vibe compression

  3. 2 min VibePlate

  4. 5 min stretch session


In 30 min:

  1. 3 min balance circuit

  2. 25 min leg or arm compression with tens

  3. 2 min VibePlate


In 40 min:

  1. 25 min group class

  2. 10 min red light therapy

  3. 2 min VibePlate


In 40 min:

  1. 15 min Nice1 ice compression with tens

  2. 25 min IR Sauna


In 40 min:

  1. 30 min leg and/or arm compression with heat/vibe on back

  2. 10 min red light therapy

In 45 min:

  1. IV Hydration treatment (Circulatory, Lymphatic, and Cellular all-in-one)


In 45 min:

  1. 30 min paraffin wax with arm compression and tens

  2. 15 min either heat/vibe or Nice1 cold compression on tx area
